King's X: It's Love

Yes, it is.  It’s love that holds all things together.  It is everywhere and is in everything.  It’s the reason we’re all still alive.  It’s how and why we and this earth was created.  It is the basis and foundation for the entire universe.  It’s why you picked up this book and its why you can stop running from God today.  Love is why everything happens---everything happens for a reason.  With love there are no coincidences, only divine appointments.

 

“And now these three remain:  faith, hope and love.  But the greatest of these is love.”  1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)

 

          Father, speak to us.  Speak to our hearts.  Speak to us in dreams and visions.  Let Your Holy Spirit revive us right now, so that we might not only experience true love through You but so that we can share it with everyone around us:  believers and non-believers alike.  Teach us to be like you.  To emulate You and Your ways.  In other words, teach us to love others always, where they are no matter their circumstances.  And teach us to forgive others as You have forgiven us and to extend grace and mercy to all as You have to us, Lord Jesus.  Amen.
