Ps. 37:4AMP Today let us take a look at a scripture that is not only quoted all the time but is usually misquoted or half quoted most of the time. Nine times out of ten most people will quote the Lord “will give you the desires of your heart”, and totally leave out the first part of the whole scripture which states, “Delight yourself in the Lord” or “Take delight in the Lord”. People forget that part for some reason. Do we wonder or know why? What is the definition of delight ? The verb is: please (someone) greatly. The noun is: great pleasure.
