Luke 12:15 AMP [15] Then He said to them, “Watch out and guard yourselves against every form of greed; for not even when one has an overflowing abundance does his life consist of nor is it derived from his possessions.” Life is not derived from possessions. Life is not about how many things you've acquired. It is not measured by how many cars or homes you own. It is not measured by if you have the latest game system or the latest pair of Jordans. First of all, who gives a rip what you or I have? I don't and God especially doesn't. We worship Him, not possessions. We worship Him, not other people or their possessions. Your “things” will not get you eternal life with the Father. Trust and believe that. Don't get it twisted. Believing in, following and serving Jesus will.
