Trust God, Prov. 29:25esv
Proverbs 29:25 ESV [25] The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe. Plain as day, wouldn't you say? Safety is found in whom? When your trust is placed in the Lord you are safe. Put your trust in man aka the world, I wouldn't feel safe at all. Their hearts are fickle (John 2:24-25). Never put your trust there. It is a definite recipe for disaster. If you want to see trust fail, put it in man. Furthermore, notice it says "the fear of man". Why would you fear man? You have the Lord, what can man do to or for you? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Psalm 118:6 (ESV): "The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" Psalm 56:11 (ESV): "In God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?" The word says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom", Proverbs 9:10; not man.
