2 John 1:6 AMP [6] And this is love: that we walk in accordance with His commandments and are guided continually by His precepts. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should [always] walk in love . {Keyword: always. In other words: daily.} Walking in love means we must walk in His ways. Walking in love means we should be guided by His precepts everyday. The definition of precept : a general rule intended to regulate behavior or thought. So, we should be walking in His commands and those commands should be regulating our behaviors or thoughts. Are your thoughts filled with His ways? Are His ways your ways? Do you have the mind of Christ ? If God is love, then you are walking in Him and therefore you should be moving and thinking as He would.
