Restore and Renew, Ps. 119:28amp
Ps. 119:28 AMP, My soul dissolves because of grief; renew and strengthen me according to (the promise) of Your Word. Ps. 119:28 NIV, My soul is weary with sorrow, strengthen me according to Your Word. When you are tired and spent. When life exhausts you to the point of giving up. We all know that feeling; that feels like sorrow and grief as well. We have sorrow from just living life sometimes and we have the sorrow of great loss. Both happen to us on the daily. But, we can be renewed, restored, and strengthened daily. We are renewed by His word. We are renewed by His promises. His word is our strength (Lam. 3:22-23, Ps. 119:105, Romans 10:13;17, Philippians 4:13, 2 Cor. 1:20 and Jeremiah 15:16). Jesus is our strength (John 1:1;14). Let Jesus continue to be your strength.
