Spoiler alert! I’m not one for spoilers but when we’re doing something for God, that rule gets thrown out the window, just saying.  Anyway, if you haven’t seen the latest season of Stranger Things, I advise that you do.  No, there is nothing strange about the Lord or our relationship with Him.  What is strange is when we forget that He has given us the strength and the power to defeat the Vecna’s in our lives (2 Tim. 1:7 & 1 John 4:4).  Furthermore, when we forget the hills, roads, buildings, mountains, valleys, tunnels, etc. that we must pass through, over or under, that He, through His infinite power, has already conquered these things for us.  All we need to do is believe.  He has already given us the strength to conquer these obstacles in life (Is. 40:31) and we shall not grow weary in doing these things.  So, we can always be running up that hill, be running up that road, running up that building, running up that mountain…

 

Thank you, Father for already conquering the things in my life for me so that all I have to do is believer and receive the victory.  Help me to remember that you have given me the strength to never be weary.  I shall never tire of fighting the good fight.  In Your name we pray, Amen.
