The Fantastic Four: The Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit & You! (Pt. 1)

 

    I bet you have most likely never thought of yourself as part of the Fantastic Four let alone as a superhero!  However, we as believers are the greatest of superheroes because our power comes from the Lord the creator of all things, including heroes! 

Who or what are the Fantastic Four?! That would be the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit & You! 

Let's break it down by the characters of the comic:

1. Johnny Storm-Fire

    Jeremiah 20:9, "But, if I say, 'I will not mention Him or speak any more in His name,' His word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones.  I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.

Place the Word of God in your heart, it is the place where Jesus resides; release it, speak it.  Hebrews 12:29, for our God is a consuming fire.  This is a fire that cannot be contained and must be released! 

2. Sue Storm-Invisibility

    Holy Spirit:  unseen, invisible movements in life; i.e. supernatural finances-groceries, ACH deposits, etc

    God supplies your needs supernaturally, Philippians 4:19; Luke 6:38, Give, and it will be be given to you.  A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.

2a. Sue Storm-Shield Power

    The Holy Spirit provides a shield around you; protects and guides!  Psalm 3:3, But you are a shield around me, O Lord....

    Psalm 28:7, The Lord is my strength and my shield.

    Psalm 144:2, He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge.
