Fear the consequences, Pr. 28:14AMP

Blessed and favored by God is the man who fears [sin and its consequence] at all times,

But he who hardens his heart [and is determined to sin] will fall into disaster. Pr. 28:14 AMP

Know this, if you felt conviction after reading this passage of scripture, it is not a bad thing. It means your heart is in the right place. Remember, according to scripture, God weighs and examines the heart. Not the mind. So, if you fear sin and it's consequences, your heart is right; you are and will be blessed and favored at all times.

Do not become hard. Do not become disgruntled or despair. Do not set out to plan or seek to sin. Doing so ends horribly. This is where we turn to Psalms 34:14, Turn away from evil and do good;

Seek peace and pursue it; and Psalms 119:11, Your word I have treasured and stored in my heart,

That I may not sin against You. Healthy is the fear of the consequences of sin. Be blessed and favored.
