Find compassion and mercy... Prov. 28:13AMP

He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, But whoever confesses and turns away from his sins will find compassion and mercy.  Prov. 28:13 AMP

Another passage which can, and will; and should convict you.  Again, if it does, your heart is in the right place.  If you immediately began to search your heart (Ps. 139:23-24) and asked God to help you find anything there that needs to be removed, your heart is in the right place.  You can't hide sin anyway, so you might as well confess it.  Remember, He weighs and examines hearts, not minds. 

You want to prosper?  Turn away from sin. Remember, prospering isn't just financial (Ps. 1:1-3).   Best part about this scripture:  compassion and mercy.  Yes, here are my favorite words in scripture:   compassion and mercy.  It does not say you will find condemnation when you turn away, or shame, or ridicule.  It says compassion and mercy.  He came to save you (John 3:17).  Confess, and receive HIs compassion and mercy today.
