Real Love... Romans 12:9AMP

Romans 12:9, Love is to be sincere and active (the real thing, without guile and hypocrisy).  Hate what is evil (detest all ungodliness, do not tolerate wickedness); hold on tightly to what is good. 

Real love, I'm searchin' for a real love

Real love, I'm searchin' for a real love

I thought you were the answer to the questions in my mind

But it seems that I was wrong

I know some of us or all of us at one time were feelin MJB on this! We’re all looking for that real love.  We search and search, high and low in every place; and everything.  It finds us in places we don’t need to be and situations we should’ve never been in the first place if we would just listen to Him.  If we had just come to Him first.  He is love and you don’t have to go far to find Him (Rom. 5:8, John 4:16).  Just cry out to Him and He will immediately show up (Ps. 107:28, Ps. 40: 1-3)! The world can never love you as He loves you.  The world can never have the compassion and mercy, grace, and forgiveness that He has for you.  Since He has shown such love for you, you must show the same to others so that they will know His love, too.  Be sincere and remember love is a verb.  Actively show love towards others and simultaneously detest those things that are ungodly; do not tolerate wickedness.  The word specifically states “do not tolerate” wickedness.  In other words, do not allow the existence of or practice of wickedness.  We must hold on tightly to what is good on the daily, ladies and gentlemen, regardless of what the world thinks.  No matter what your neighbor or your coworker thinks.  Do what is right and hate what is wrong.  In doing so, be real.  Be transparent.  Show love to all, believers, and non-believers alike.  Extend grace and mercy to all (Eph. 4:32); be tenderhearted to everyone you encounter. Be the “real love” people are searching for.
