Empower your neighbor, Rom. 15:1-2AMP

Now we who are strong [in our convictions and faith] ought to [patiently] put up with the weaknesses of those who are not strong, and not just please ourselves. 2 Let each one of us [make it a practice to] please his [a]neighbor for his good, to build him up spiritually. Rom. 15:1-2AMP

Looking at verse 1, it's telling us that those of us who are strong in faith, those of us who have been walking with Christ for awhile, who have been through valleys, trials & tribulations, who are mature in their convictions and faith should have the longanimity to handle those who have not been on this road long.  To be there for and walk not only with but beside those who are not as mature in the faith or who have not been strengthened as we have been, due to weathering many storms with Jesus as our only guide.

We cannot and should not be an island unto ourselves.  Do not let your pride get in the way of doing Mark 12:31.  Take what you have learned and help your neighbor.  Uplift, build up and encourage your brother or sister in the faith.  Make it your practice, to empower your fellow brothers and sisters spiritually.   Don't let your fellow believers fall by the wayside. Someone was mature enough to love & empower you.  So, do the same to your neighbor.
