Focused! Ps. 119:37amp

Ps. 119:37 (AMP) Turn my eyes away from vanity (all those worldly, meaningless things that distract, let Your priorities be mine), And restore me (with renewed energy) in your ways.

Ps. 119:37a (NIV) Turn my eyes away from worthless things.

If only every believer set out to pray this everyday.  If only every believer woke up with this mindset daily.  Is this your prayer?  If is not, that may be part of your problem.  Actually, it is the reason for your problems or shall we say self inflicted problems.  (Not everything is the Devil's fault, just saying)  Take your eyes off yourself and put them on Jesus.

That solves everything right there.  By the way, I'm speaking to you non believers, too.  Turn to Jesus and turn away from the things of the world, which is all vanity (Ecc. 1) and your life will change for the better.  Remember, Peter didn't start to sink until what?  Until he took his eyes off of whom?  (Matt. 14:22-33) When he took his eyes off Jesus.  Get your eyes off distractions, i.e. social media, work, money, food, cars, the opposite sex, clothes, etc.  When His priorities become your priorities i.e. your neighbors; you will see your life changed.  You will be restored and renewed.  Keep your eyes on Jesus.
