Where is your confidence? Gal. 5:10amp

 I have confidence in you in the Lord that you will adopt no other view [contrary to mine on the matter]; but the one who is disturbing you, whoever he is, will have to bear the penalty.  

Gal. 5:10amp

After telling us to not follow and to beware of false teachers Paul encourages us. In the previous verse he warned us to be leary of them and what they say because even just a little bit of what they say can be a stumbling block to us if we take it to heart. His trust is in the Lord in us that will help us to continue to stay the course. His trust in the Lord in us that we will not take on these false teaching viewpoints.

He ends by saying those that are guilty of leading us astray will pay a penalty. In other words, God will deal with them. To sum up this verse: let us put our confidence in God and nothing else.

Placing it in anything else equals failure.
