Love, Seek, Serve, Galatians 5:13amp

13 For you, my brothers, were called to freedom; only do not let your freedom become an opportunity for the [a]sinful nature (worldliness, selfishness), but through [b]love serve and seek the best for one another.

Love, serve and seek.  Be a servant first.  I believe that is paramount in our walk with Christ, to serve others first.  Do not serve yourself.  Be selfless, not selfish.  The root of sin is selfishness because you’re looking to serve and gratify yourself.  That’s not what Christ is or was about.  If you’re about that then you are not about Christ. 

If you are about Christ then Paul tells us here in this verse that we are called to be free.  To be free in Christ.  However, be wise in your freedom.  Don’t allow your freedom to cause you to be worldly or selfish.  But, allow love to help you serve and seek to do the best for others.  Seek the best for each other in your freedom in Christ.
