Benefactor, Psalms 71:6amp

 

Upon You have I relied and been sustained from my birth;

You are He who took me from my mother’s womb and You have been my benefactor from that day.

My praise is continually of You.

It has been the Lord who has sustained you from birth.  Who or where do you think your help has always come from?  Are you not aware that you rely on the Lord daily who sustains you.  To sustain your life (Romans 1:18-32).  You think that you just magically wake up on your own and start breathing?  That is not the case, my brother or sister.  He gave you life.  He took you from your mother’s womb and gave you your life.  He formed you in your mother’s womb (Ps. 139).  

Ps. 71:6 says, “you have been my benefactor from that day”.  Definition of a benefactor:  a person or entity that provides assistance or an advantage to a person, group, or organization.

God is the benefactor.  The GOAT of benefactors.  He provides assistance 24/7, just ask for it (Matt. 7:7-8).  The advantage over everything on earth He has given you is through Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  He sent them both here to give you the advantage over life and to give you a better life (John 10:10 & Phil. 4:19).  He is the great benefactor! Call on Him today! Give Him praise!
