Fellowship, Gal. 5:15amp

 Devo 12/3/24…

15 But if you bite and devour one another [in bickering and strife], watch out that you [along with your entire fellowship] are not consumed by one another.

Galatians 5:15amp

Consider the Fellowship of the Ring.  The ring caused the Fellowship to begin to turn against one another.  It tempted everyone and caused division.  It caused confusion and suspicion amongst the Fellowship, which is what the enemy likes to do with us.  However, it can also be us as a fellowship that can cause these things, too.  It is not always the enemy that stirs up strife and slandering.  It is not always the enemy that attacks others or hurts others by their actions.  It is us as humans who let our flesh get in the way of God’s will and purpose.  Paul warns us that we can’t allow this to happen or we will consume one another and then there won’t be any fellowship.  And, of course in that case we would have done the enemy’s job for him.

Be mindful of one another.  Watch your tongue.  Mind your own business, 1 Thess. 4:11, and go in peace.
