The Newsboys sang it right when they dropped this song on us many years ago.  Make others wonder what makes you shine.  What makes you happy and joyful?  What gives you peace?  Make others want what you have that is keeping you going day to day.  Let your good works glorify the Lord before all people so that they will see the light of the Lord illuminating from you.  The light that is in your heart should be shining upon others not just inside or on yourself.  The light that is inside of you is to be shared with everyone so that they might come to know the Lord.  So, today remember the chorus of this song and remember this verse:  You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. And, let your light shine!
