[46] and He said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not fall into temptation.” 

The sleeper must awaken! When you get up in the morning, what's the first thing you should do: pray.

Childish Gambino’s lyrics ring true in our ears: stay awake! Be vigilant!

Be alert, pray! If you are praying on the regular you can't help but be alert.  You can't help but be awake. Those who are alert won't fall into temptation. Those still asleep will slip and fall, because that's what happens when you sleepwalk. A lot of us are sleepwalking. Wake up, time to pray.

James 5:16b AMP

[16] The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. 

Numerous times in the gospels Jesus always went to a quiet place to pray.  He always took time to pray. He made time to pray. He accomplished much. We should take the obvious hint.

Get up and pray.
