His Good Pleasure, Phil. 2:13amp

Philippians 2:13 AMP

[13] For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.

This morning remember that when you think that you can’t go on, that you can’t continue to make it to work, to write that sermon, to write that major essay, to share your testimony, to operate in the gift or gifts that God has given you, it is Him that provides the strength (Phil. 4:13) within you to do so.  It is Him that continues to work within you 24/7.  It is Him that continues to provide the strength, knowledge and willpower to resist the things of this world.  It is Him inside of you that is giving you the ability to fulfill the purpose that He Himself has asked you to fulfill.

According to His word it is “for His good pleasure”.  Know this morning that God takes pleasure in helping you to fulfill your purpose.  So, quit worrying. He's got your back. He is perpetually working in your life right now and whatever you need to come to pass it shall happen because He is for you.  It is His strength actively working in you, not yours.  If He thought you could do it on your own He wouldn’t have sent Jesus or the Holy Spirit.  Surrender and let Him help you. He is here for you.
