[7] When the Lord is pleased with the decisions you’ve made, he activates grace to turn enemies into friends.

When we please the Lord.  When we please the Lord.  Um, when we please the Lord.  The Passion Translation really puts it into perspective:  “pleased with the decisions you’ve made”.  When you make the right decisions in unison with the Lord.  When you make the right decisions in line with God’s will.  This part:  “He activates grace to turn” your enemies into friends.  Have you ever noticed that at your job?  Ever noticed it in your day to day?  You can’t miss it when those people that you’re normally at odds with suddenly change their tune.  When that one co worker that you always butt heads with is now either a lot more easy going or more receptive to listening to what you have to say.  Only the Lord can do this.  Only the power of the Holy Spirit can change someone’s heart this way.  It is the weapon of grace wielded by the Holy Spirit that can turn your enemies into friends.  This is the result of “grace upon grace” in your life (John 1:16).  It is His grace that creates and provides peace in all the areas of your life.  The best decision you ever made was to take up your cross and follow Him, therefore, everything and everyone around you must be at peace. Let us continue to make good decisions according to His will.
