Can You Be Still? Ex. 14:14NIV

The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.  Exodus 14:14NIV

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;

    I will be exalted among the nations,

    I will be exalted in the earth.”   Ps. 46:10NIV

Be still.  Be still.  Be still.

Stop struggling to be free (Gal. 5:1).  His life, death and resurrection has already made you free through Him.  His yoke is easy and His burden is light! Rest and be still.  Rest in Him because He has already won the fight.  Be still in His hope and peace.  Scripture says:  May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, Rom. 15:13.  

Again, surrender to Him.  God is calling all of us to surrender.  Be still and surrender. Surrender to Him and He will fight for you.  You need not do anything but to be still and receive what He has already gained for you.  Be still and He will go before you.  Be still and He will fight all of your battles.  As CeCe Winans sang:  He’s never lost a battle! When you can be still and surrender you will know that He is God!
