[23] ¶O Lord, I know that the path of [life of] a man is not in himself; It is not within [the limited ability of] man [even one at his best] to choose and direct his steps [in life]. [Ps 37:23; Prov 20:24]

Proverbs 20:24 AMP

[24] Man’s steps are ordered and ordained by the Lord. How then can a man [fully] understand his way?

Sounds like you need the Lord in your life. Do you have the Lord in your life? Is He directing your steps? Is He lighting your path? Is He a lamp for your feet? Are you seeking His counsel? Do you trust in Him and His word; and His word alone? Or are you seeking the foolish knowledge of the world? Do not put your trust in man because he will always fail you. You can only trust the Lord. The word says that even at his best, in his limited ability, can man choose and direct his paths in life. So, as for you and your house you best follow & worship the Lord. Without God we will not make it. Jeremiah 10:23 has just told us that, so stop trying to do it on your own and within your own ability. You can't without Him. Ask for help today. Accept Him into your life and your heart today. Surrender your life to God and allow Him to direct your steps. It's time for you to get out of the pilot's seat.
