We Overcome with Peace, John 16:33NLT

John 16:33 NLT

[33] I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

Yes, it’s just as easy as that.  We normally wouldn’t think it would be that simple but it just happens to be so.  He has given us peace, peace which transcends all understanding.  He is the God of peace therefore He is the creator and author of peace.  And, He has reminded us that, yes, we will have “many” trials and sorrows while here on earth. While we live in this earthsuit.  Just being in the earthsuit alone is a trail and sorrow in itself.  But God, yes, but God, said take heart because He has overcome the world.  He has overcome the world and all that comes with it.  So, we must walk with and in Him to do so.  It is only through Him and through His peace will we be able to overcome the world.  Sometimes we don’t need the actual trial to disappear, we just need to navigate through it in peace.  Being able to be at peace during the storm is a bigger flex than calming the storm, and that is how you overcome.
