Speak! Jeremiah 20:9NLT
Devo 6/9/26…
[9] But if I say I’ll never mention the Lord or speak in his name, his word burns in my heart like a fire. It’s like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can’t do it!
[3] My heart became hot within me. As I mused, the fire burned; then I spoke with my tongue:
The Name above all other names
Speak the Name
The Name the wind and waves obey
Of the Name
(Koryn Hawthorne–Speak the Name)
That’s the Holy Spirit. That’s how it feels when you need to speak the name of Jesus. That’s how it feels when the Lord has given you a word for someone and you need to speak it. You have to let it go. You have to say whatever it is the Lord has placed upon your lips and your heart. Say what you need to say as the song says. Speak on what the Lord has given to you. It is also why we testify. We can’t hold it in. What the Lord has done for us we can’t keep it inside because it is too good. We can’t keep it inside because whatever it is He has saved us from has blessed us so much. To all of you non believers out there this is why we continuously and consistently tell you about Jesus. This is why you will always hear about our testimony because we can’t not tell you. How great are the things that the Lord has done in our lives and in the earth. How great are the things He can do in your life. Jesus commanded us to go out into the world and to spread the gospel (Matthew 28:19-20). This is what empowers us to do so. We’re never going away. We will be here speaking His name until He comes to get us. So get ready, here we come.
