Isaiah 43:1-2, AMP, Our ransom has been paid...

 1But now, this is what the Lord, your Creator says, O Jacob,

And He who formed you, O Israel,

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you [from captivity];

I have called you by name; you are Mine!

2When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;

And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you.

When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched,

Nor will the flame burn you.

Isaiah 43:1-2

God has obtained your release; our release.  He has paid our release.  His son paid for our release from sickness, sin and death on the cross.  Because He paid our ransom we now belong to Him and He will be with us wherever we go.  We are owned by God and are precious to Him.  His son paid a high price for us.  Just as we pay a high price for something in the store that we will cherish and protect it.  Do we not?

Same concept:  God cherishes and protects us and wishes no harm to come to us and wants the best for us, just as we do for our children and sometimes our earthly possessions unfortunately.  So much more is our relationship our Heavenly Father...

John 3:17
