 Follow Him

“Come to me, all who are weary and heavily burdened (by religious rituals that provide no peace), and I will give you rest (refreshing your souls with salvation).  Matt. 11:28 AMP

And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. 

Philippians 4:7 AMP

Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all. 

2 Thessalonians 3:16 AMP

Are you tired? Are you weary today? Feel like you can’t go on? Had enough? It’s time to rest but to fully rest.  Jesus said to come to Him.  You’re tired because, not only are you trying to do it all by yourself, you’re trying to do it without Him.  Religion doesn’t work.  Stop trying to follow or worship Jesus the way “man” wants you to.  Jesus is about relationship, not rituals.

Rituals do not give you peace.

Rituals cannot give you rest.

Read 2 Thess. 3:16 again.  Peace regardless of life’s circumstances to those who walk with Him.  Are you walking with Him? If not, that’s why you have no peace and no rest.  Give up your worries (Phil. 4:6-7).  Freely surrender as Stryper sang to us.  Open up unto His majesty.  Go to Him.  There you will find peace.  There you will find rest.  Walk with Him and He will carry your burdens.
