Selfless humility... Phil. 2:5 AMP

Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus [look to Him as your example in selfless humility].  Phil. 2:5 AMP

Right before this verse Paul says, "Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others."  And in verse 3, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit" and "regard others as more important than yourselves".  

Are you getting the picture yet?  You are not first.  The person next to you is first.  We need to be thinking of their needs first before ours.  We need to humble ourselves before God and ask what can we do for others.  What can we do for others everyday regardless of whether they are less fortunate than us or not.  Even those who you think have everything, have nothing if they don't have Christ.  Be a light.  Have compassion for others.
