Walk by the Spirit, Stop the arrogance! Galatians 5:25-26AMP
If we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit]. 26We must not become conceited, challenging or provoking one another, envying one another. Galatians 5:25-26AMP
If you're going to talk the talk then walk the walk. You can't just say I live by the Spirit your actions need to show that you do. Walk by the Spirit. Your integrity, courage and character should be empowered by the Holy Spirit.
That 26th verse though: We must not become conceited, challenging or provoking one another, envying one another. All of you need to read that a hundred more times. I see members of His body doing this everyday and it's sad, when our Word has specifically told us not to do so; and the body of Christ disobeys it blatantly. I said what I said. Stop it.
Stop the arrogance from the pulpit and the pew. Stop challenging one another and provoking each other. Stop the envying, its immature. We're all blessed and leave it at that. We have all received mercy and grace beyond measure. Not one of you is better than the other nor will you ever be. Stay focused on Him. Walk by the Spirit.
