Higher, Further, Faster in 2024! Is. 40:28-31AMP

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth

Does not become tired or grow weary;

There is no searching of His understanding.

29He gives strength to the weary,

And to him who has no might He increases power.

30Even youths grow weary and tired,

And vigorous young men stumble badly,

31But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him]

Will gain new strength and renew their power;

They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun];

They will run and not become weary,

They will walk and not grow tired.  Is. 40:28-31 AMP

We all know verse 31 but have you read the three verses before it?  Our Lord does not become tired or grow weary.  He is everlasting and is the Creator of the ends of the earth.  Our finite minds cannot understand Him.  He gives His strength to those who are weary and to those who have no might, He increases their power through Himself (Rom. 8:10-11).  All young people get tired, grow weary or run out of strength eventually.  But those of us who what:  WAIT for the Lord; will renew their strength.  Those who expect, look for and hope in Him.  

There's only one way to go higher, further, faster:  expect, look for and hope in Him.  Higher:  lift up your wings like eagles.  Further:  you will walk and not grow tired, so you will go further.  Faster:  you will run and not become weary.  Let's go Higher, Further, Faster in the Lord in 2024!
