God listens to you! Jer. 29:11-13AMP

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‭-‬13‬ ‭AMP‬‬

[11] For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. [12] Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you. [13] Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. 

When reading these verses I noticed that the verses most quoted or used are verses 11 & 13. Most definitely v.11 is used more but what about verse 12:

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:12‬ ‭AMP‬‬

[12] Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you. 

This verse should be quoted more for two reasons:  God will hear your voice and He will listen to you.  When we call on Him (Calling on you, calling on you) and pray, He hears us & He listens to us.  Communication is a 2-way street, therefore, when He speaks to us we need to hear His voice and listen to Him.

God hears you.

God listens to you.

He wants to hear your voice.
