Measureless grace, Ps. 55:22 TPT
So here’s what I’ve learned through it all:
Leave all your cares and anxieties at the feet of the Lord,
and measureless grace will strengthen you. Ps. 55:22TPT
Revisiting? Maybe so, but for a reason: someone needs to hear it for the first time or again. If so, the first time was from the AMP version, let's look at it from the The Passion Translation.
The TPT sounds like something David would've said to either his son or someone he considered a close friend; or someone he could've been mentoring. If anyone in the entire Bible knew or understood this, it would definitely be David. Especially the aspect of "measureless grace". So much grace that you can't measure it will give you strength. It reminds us of John 1:16, "grace upon grace".
The fact that we know that God has given us "grace upon grace" should strengthen us alone to continue in our walk with Christ. Know that when we do cast our cares (1 Peter 5:7) upon Him it is His grace that provides us strength to carry on. In spite of all of the circumstances, anxieties and storms around us, we continue to carry on because we are supported by His grace.
