Elders and youth, 1 Tim. 5:1-2amp

5 Do not sharply reprimand an older man, but appeal to him as [you would to] a father, to younger men as brothers, 2 to older women as mothers, to younger women as sisters, in all purity [being careful to maintain appropriate relationships]. 1 Tim. 5:1-2amp

This is what is wrong with society today. Society does not adhere to this passage of scripture.  If it did the world would be a much better place, but to use an old adage: change first starts with you.

If you start to put this into practice in your own life, in your own walk with Christ, your example will catch on.  Unfortunately, we are all susceptible to immediately “clap back” without remembering to adhere to this scripture.  If we applied this daily there would be less miscommunication and less strife; and contention.

We must respect and honor those who are our elders. We are to protect and encourage those who are younger than
us. Let's start incorporating 1 Tim. 5:1-2 in all that we do.  Start living this passage today, so are fellow brothers and sisters will start to follow our example.  Let's change the atmosphere today.
