Learn to stop & rest, Mark 6:31-32amp

He said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a little while”—for there were many [people who were continually] coming and going, and they could not even find time to eat. 32 And they went away by themselves in the boat to a secluded place.  Mark 6:31-32 AMP

This is not the first time Jesus got away from the crowds or people to rest.  There is more than one occasion in the New Testament where we see this.  Again, our Lord is setting the example to rest.  Some key things, He said a "secluded place".  In other words, no people or distractions.  This verse says "there were many people who were continually coming and going".  Is that you?! You need to stop.  You're doing too much.  Learn to rest and learn to say no to some things.  It says, "they could not even find time to eat".  Listen. if the Lord took time away to rest and eat, shouldn't you do the same?  Your agenda can wait.  You have plenty of time to do ministry.  

Remember, it's His ministry, not yours anyway.  When things are supposed to happen they'll happen on His time table, not yours, so stop, rest and spend time with Him.
