Stop being extra, Gal. 5:3-4amp
Once more I solemnly affirm to every man who receives circumcision [as a supposed requirement of salvation], that he is under obligation and required to keep the whole Law. 4 You have been severed from Christ, if you seek to be [a]justified [that is, declared free of the guilt of sin and its penalty, and placed in right standing with God] through the Law; you have fallen from grace [for you have lost your grasp on God’s unmerited favor and blessing]. Gal. 5:3-4 AMP
As we continue to look at Galatians 5, we look at verses 3 & 4...
As small as circumcision may be Paul says you are required to keep the whole law by doing it. In other words, you can't keep some of the law and throw out the rest. The law is all or nothing; can't keep one part and not the other. The same goes for accepting Jesus except you can keep Jesus, you can't keep the law. It's not possible which is why we have Jesus. This leads us to verse four. We can't be considered freed from sin by Christ if we keep seeking salvation by something we can never do: the law. You lose God's blessing by doing so.
Stop being extra.
There's nothing more you can do to be saved except receive Christ daily.
