Strengthen Me! Ps. 51:10amp

Psalms 51:10 AMP

[10] ¶Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a right and steadfast spirit within me.

Let me tell you, my birthday month has started off in left field, which has brought me back to this scripture from most likely my favorite Psalm.  I went to bed Sunday night and in the middle of the night, 3 am to be exact I had a horrible nightmare.  I normally do not or should I say I haven’t remembered a dream in quite awhile.  More importantly I haven’t had a nightmare in a very long while.  Therefore, in light of that and in light of what I just said I knew that this was spiritual.  I laid there and prayed for at least what seemed like 45 minutes straight.  It actually was probably more like 10 but time doesn’t matter in situations like this.  It carries no weight or affect on it.  But the one scripture that kept coming to my mind was Psalms 51:10.  Which isn’t a coincidence because just two days before during my worship time this scripture was presented to me.  In essence, God was preparing me for Sunday night.  

It was this scripture that got me through whatever was trying to trouble me.  “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a right and steadfast spirit within me”.  Make my heart pure, correct, right and aligned with you through this battle.  Refresh and strengthen my spirit within me to fight, in Jesus name.  It is only the Word that will get you through.  The Word in your heart.  The Word will strengthen and protect your heart.  His Word will protect and cover your spirit.  The Word will come to you right on time when you need it.  This is why we stay in His Word.  (Hebrews 4:12)
