Praise Him Who Made All Things, Ps. 104:14-15 & 27-30 NIV
Psalm 104:14-15; 27-30 NIV
He makes grass grow for the cattle,
and plants for people to cultivate—
bringing forth food from the earth:
15 wine that gladdens human hearts,
oil to make their faces shine,
and bread that sustains their hearts.
All creatures look to you
to give them their food at the proper time.
28 When you give it to them,
they gather it up;
when you open your hand,
they are satisfied with good things.
29 When you hide your face,
they are terrified;
when you take away their breath,
they die and return to the dust.
30 When you send your Spirit,
they are created,
and you renew the face of the ground.
There is only one God. There is only one who has created all things and cares for all things on this planet. There is only one who has given life to all things on this planet and can also take it away. There is only one who is running the show. There is only one who is not only standing on business but is handling business on the earth. Psalms 104:14-15 & 27-30 speak to that. God is our provider and creator of all things. All of Psalms 104 speaks to this and gives all the glory and praise to Him because He does.
Don’t get it twisted, you don’t own anything here and you are not in control of anything here. The earth belongs to God and everything in it does, too! Give glory, honor and praise to Him; not to yourself, as the rest of the world does! Honor the only one who rules the heavens and the earth. Again, there can be only one: He is the Lord God Almighty, He created all things and is everywhere, all the time. Praise be to Him, from where all blessings flow!
